The first telephone "interview" was more about discussing the role, with just a few brief questions about myself. It was nice to be laid back and get somewhat familiar with the job before the more formal interview. The virtual interview was a bit more in depth but still laid back and conversational. Interviews are nerve wracking, but not this one. It was a nice change of pace. I will say, though, it feels a little sketchy that many of the questions I had (i.e., turnover rate, raise amounts & frequency of pay increases, etc.) could not be answered by the interviewer. It's too soon to tell but I worry it was the easy way to get around telling me the negatives of the role/company.
