My initial interview with Bazaarvoice was a phone call with their in-house recruiter. This call was aimed at discussing the vacancy, the responsibilities, how I would see myself within the role and the next steps.
The initial call was followed up with an evening call with my potential new Manager the Global Director of Support in Austin Texas. This was a great, informal chat about my background, my thoughts on Support and the expectations of this new role in the London office.
Following this telephone call, I visited the London office twice, once to deliver a Presentation to a panel in Austin Texas which comprised of the Global Director of Support, and two Support Managers who would be my peers. The second visit was to meet with two of my potential team so they could ask me questions, and I could get a feel for the situation within in team.
My overall experience was very positive, even with effectively 4 interviews, I felt that Bazaarvoice was being thorough, and the recruiter kept me informed.
