Talked to the recruiter and was set up to meet with the President and VP of Finance. When I got there the VP says oh I am not meeting with you. Met with the President. It was clear for whatever reason I wasn't being seriously considered for the job even though he talked about how qualified I was. There weren't very many people of color working there. Even though I have a masters degree from a very well known and regarded college he asked me why I choose my undergrad school (which is also known)? He went through my resume line by line. Even though I had more than 16 years of work history again ask so you had a gap in between jobs? When I had not. I told him no I worked for more than 10 years with on position as you can clearly see. He proceeded to tell me no I was talking about after undergrad. After I informed him that I had worked, just that my first job out of college had been bumped off because the three jobs I had on my resume amounted to more than 16 years of experience he said oh. I have never been asked this question before or since. The whole interview was very sketchy.
