Interview
Interview process can be lengthy. Be patient, active, but not pushy. Do a little homework and get to know the voice backcountry uses across its sites before you do a writing test. Know your stuff and don't try to BS. You don' thave to be an expert on everything, but be ready to show off the areas where you really know your stuff.

It was a bogus interview. I spoke with a bunch of uninterested people who could care less that I was coming in to interview for the position. I only got the job due to someone I knew in the department.
