Involved a chat with an AI interviewer before moving to a technical interview with live coding solving a problem in a language of your choice. There was also a brief chat with HR which was very chill.
The process is 4 steps: intro call, technical round, behavioral round, and an onsite work round.
I believe the team is focusing more on compatibility than pure engineering talent. This is also somewhat visible from patterns on their LinkedIn team page.
Startups and small companies can be like this, with vague requirements and filters. It didn’t feel particularly difficult, more like it depends on whether they like you or not. I wouldn’t suggest taking this too seriously if you have other interviews lined up.
The interviewer joined late, and communication was also challenging. He was not a native English speaker, and I struggled to clearly understand parts of the conversation, which made the interview harder to follow.

Recruiter Screening or Introduction Interview - Easy. The interviewer was very interactive and asked follow up questions. Interviewer also described the company's work and what the main responsibilities would be for the given role, along with what the entire interviewing process looks like.
