The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at BCBG in Jun 2010
Interview
Pretty straightforward interview process, phone interview before they called me in, after which there was a little quiz about Fashion and then they did a 1 on 1 interview which was the final round. The phone interview covered basics, where did you work before, education, experience, etc. The quiz was orally done before the 1 on 1 interview and was a couple questions like "difference between handbag and clutch" easy stuff. The final interview was the 1 on 1 and it was more specific questions about what skills I had and how I felt about certain aspects of life.

Tell me about one time where you had a conflict with another co-worker and how you dealt with it.
The interview process involved a few in-person meetings, primarily with the store manager. From start to finish, things moved at a good pace — I wasn't left waiting around wondering where things stood. The conversations felt genuine and the overall experience was positive. It was clear they valued my time throughout the process.

They make you try to sell as many clothes as a test - at least for the BCBC Maxazria Outlet in Commerce, California. They had me meet with an associate manager and ask about your previous sales experience.
