Literally do not even entertain an interview with this company. If you somehow get a job, be prepared to work on a knifes edge because you may or may not be let go. So many people were let go weeks into the job because it “wasn’t a good fit”.
The founder is incredibly arrogant and doesn’t negotiate. He flat out says that he “cannot compete with salaries in other industries” while also refusing to give equity to founding members. Don’t know how this place is still alive.

I applied online. I interviewed at Autonomous Healthcare
Interview
First, there was contact on my behalf via LinkedIn message. Then I received a phone interview, which on at length. After confirming, I was invited to an in-person or zoom interview to talk about my work more in-depth and do a test.
I applied online. I interviewed at Autonomous Healthcare in Feb 2021
Interview
Had a standard phone screen, discussed previous work experience, current computer vision projects, schoolwork (I'm currently in an M.S. program), etc. The actual interview was fine.
Towards the end of the interview, the interviewer mentioned that the salary for the position started at 65,000/yr, and they were not open to offering any equity in the company.
Now, I'm not exactly sure what they're thinking - the listing for the position required a master's degree, and they clearly wanted someone who's familiar with computer vision. 65,000/year is about half the normal salary for such a position.
I wish the company good luck with their financial situation, but future interviewees beware - they're asking for a highly skilled candidate and are offering ridiculously below market.
