I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Arup in Dec 2024
Interview
The online assessment centre comprised of a series of individual tasks, including a technical case study. You are given a fair amount of time to work through the tasks prior to presenting your solutions and talking through your thought process. The main interview was conducted by two senior engineers whom were friendly and attentive throughout, asking basic questions and getting to know more about your personal motivations and aspirations. Had to wait 30+ days for an update on my application which was frustrating.
Online video interview. Asked to record 1:30 minute responses to 3 questions. Given time to plan answers and re-record if necessary. Questions were very general about why the job offer appeals to you
Applied online in October and then got invited to a virtual assessment centre that happened in December. The online application was pretty straightforward. The virtual assessment centre was a whole day type of thing, it consisted of a technical interview with two panelists, a competency based interview, and then a case study.
