I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Arup (London, England) in Dec 2015
Interview
First part of the interview was a design exercise which I had 30 minutes to prepare an answer for. The task was to come up with a structural scheme design for a new entrance pavilion/lobby/reception area for an office. Next I was interviewed by a senior engineer and a director. The interview started off by talking through my design from the technical excercise, then moved on to questions about my CV.

Applied online in October and then got invited to a virtual assessment centre that happened in December. The online application was pretty straightforward. The virtual assessment centre was a whole day type of thing, it consisted of a technical interview with two panelists, a competency based interview, and then a case study.
