Interview
The first interview was very general around my background. After this interview by the hiring manager, he indicated they would set up an interview with the client. 2 weeks went by and I never got that invitation. I followed up with the recruiter after seeing the same position posted again online. I asked for the courtesy of a response and never got it.
It is also deceptive to not indicate that this is a travel position in the online job description.
I'm rather disgusted by being ghosted at this stage. It is rude and unprofessional. By the time the interviews get to the final round, there should be few enough candidates that it would have been a simple step to send a decision, instead of ignoring them. I will never forget this interaction as it is indicative of how they treat their employees and customers.
