I had 2 interviews with headhunters who knew one of the employees, then 1 interview with the team.
I thought everything was going well, and I even received an offer. I asked soft negotiation questions wondering if a higher salary were possible, hedged by stating that I understood if it weren't (so as not to make it a counteroffer and risk jeopardizing the offer I had).
They ghosted me for 4 days, then rescinded the job offer. They first claimed it was because someone else was a better experience fit, but afterward when I probed further said it was because I counter offered, which I did not, only probing if there were a slight potentiality. This means one or both of their reasons was a lie.
Extremely disorganized, unprofessional, and potentially illegal process in giving me an offer and later rescinding it when met with slight attempts to negotiate. I highly recommend against anyone pursuing a job here
