The interview process involved a recruiter screening with a few OOP-related questions, followed by a technical test on CoderPad featuring LeetCode-style questions. While the technical test itself was straightforward, the overall experience was overshadowed by extremely poor communication from the recruiter.
After the technical test, the recruiter told me he would provide feedback and asked me to share my availability. I provided a time and date, but he never followed up as promised. When I reached out the next working day to ask for the feedback, he claimed he had already sent it. After I clarified that I couldn’t find anything in my email, he responded that the email where he promised to provide feedback was, apparently, the feedback itself.
This response left me completely confused. I wasn’t sure if he was being dismissive or simply disorganised. After clarifying once more that I had not received the promised feedback, he told me almost weeks ago that he was on vacation and asked me to give him some time. Even now I have yet to receive any follow-up.
At this point, I’m not sure whether this experience reflects disorganisation, miscommunication, or a lack of professionalism, but it left me feeling frustrated and undervalued.
Overall, the communication during the process was very poor.
