I applied online. I interviewed at Anthropologie (Virginia) in May 2017
Interview
I was contacted via email and set up the interview with the store manager. When I arrived, however, I was interviewed by someone else who had not seen my resume and did not know the position I was applying for. The person did not ask me questions about myself but told me her story. She finished the interview by saying I needed to interview with the person I originally had made arrangements with, who was by the way, there. I left feeling slighted, but sent a note to the person I was supposed to meet with saying I missed seeing them but enjoyed my interview. I got a generic response that I did not get the job.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Anthropologie (Cincinnati, OH) in May 2018
Interview
Was emailed with an interview time about a week ahead of time. When I showed up to the interview the manager was about twenty minutes, didn’t make eye contact or seem present in the interview at all. She even stopped halfway through the interview because she smelled food and wanted to see where it was coming from. She asked basic interview questions and nothing really pertaining to the skills needed for the job I was interviewing for.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Anthropologie (Danbury, CT) in Apr 2017
Interview
first interview with store mgr and dept mgr in group setting; second interview with store mgr and another dept mgr; third interview with regional mgr. Was invited for a 4th interview and then it was postponed. I heard via email I would hear at the end of the week or latest the following Monday. I emailed the store mgr a light email on Friday and heard nothing. Monday came and went. I phoned the store Tuesday am and was given the brush off. Store mgr called me later and told me they went with someone else. This process took approx one month
