I applied in-person. I interviewed at American Eagle Outfitters in Sept 2010
Interview
I just went into the store during their early hours and filled out a paper application. Make sure you read the entire thing because there is a back page which requires a signature that an obnoxious amount of people forget to fill out. Try to turn it into a manager, they'll look it over and ask you a few questions on the spot. If they liked how you answer them (also make sure you look nice and fashionable when you apply) and how you dress, they'll make note of your application.
For the interview, it was the basic interview questions, nothing too hard or unexpected and I was offered a job on the spot.

Interview
-pretty easy, went inside for an interview and they asked me about my experience. They then made me try on a bunch of clothes and taught me how to fold them.

Interview
Easy interview with manager. We spoke outside about expectations. She was kind and understanding. I interviewed with a couple of people there too. Went over schedule etc. very straight forward and easy

Interview
It was very easy as I knew someone who worked there. They got me an interview and asked me basic questions. They verbally gave me an offer on the spot and I got a offical offer a week later.
