I applied online. I interviewed at American Airlines (Dallas, TX)
Interview
Nov. 14th attended a Military Veterans & Spouses job fair and AA was there and suggested that I apply online.
Nov. 14th applied online for the DFW Flight Attendant position and took the personality test.
Dec. 12th received an invitation to take the online interview. I had five days to take it.
Dec. 13th received a call from AA to make sure I received the link for the online interview, was encouraged to take it soon and wished good luck on it.
Dec. 15th took online interview. Was asked a few preliminary questions about visible tattoos, and what languages I read, speak and write. Then was prompted to take the online interview. Was asked six question and was given 2 minutes to answer each of the six questions and 30 seconds to think of my response before answering.
I was asked basic customer service questions.
1. Tell me about a time when you received excellent cus svc?
2. Where did you get your cus svc experience?
3. What excites you most about living in a new city?
4. What do you know about AA?
5. Tell me about your experience with working as part of a team?
6. What qualities do you have that would make you a good FA?
I fumbled a bit on the questions because I was expecting some of the ones that I saw here, but it was more nerves than anything. There were times when I paused for a second, looked directly into the camera and answered the question as if I was having a conversation with a real person. That helped.
I'm now waiting to see if my responses were good enough!
