I applied online. I interviewed at American Airlines (Dallas, TX) in Jul 2016
Interview
Exactly as described ! from previous posts. There is a four step process prior to face to face interview. My face to face was scheduled and then a week prior another email arrived with a different date and day. It was quite confusing and a nightmare to straighten when calling talent services. It is crazy how difficult it was to speak to the same recruiter. I dealt with at least 5 different people and received 4 emails from different people regarding the same face to face appt. The f 2 f involved group activity and then short answers questions in a private room with 5 other applicants. There was not real assessment of one to one until you did the shuttle walk. They had us wait for our name to be called for supposed one to one interview. This did not happen . Rather you take a quick stroll down a long hallway and the recruiter asks one question. This face to face opportunity is a joke. IT was more like 30 seconds of add anything you want to say. Needless to say the recruitment process at American was very disappointing. The main presenter did a great job and put on a show. The evaluators were impressed with themselves and did not interact with any of us . It was like a preschool evaluation.
