The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Amazon in Jan 2016
Interview
Two phone interviews before meeting anyone in person. Waited months before hearing back after initial application, waited a month after the first phone interview to hear about the second, waited over two months to hear back from the second phone interview.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (London, England) in Feb 2020
Interview
Generally ok time, but all the interviewers are young and inexperienced. Just ticking off a list. Structure and assessments were fine but the order made no sense. As expected, interviewing at Amazon is difficult and regimented.

Interview
I applied online, did an online evaluation/aptitude test, and then had a phone screen test. Amazon has a reputation for odd management practices and I guess my experience confirmed this. Nebulous questions about leadership principles, 4 interviews in 1 round, as well as one technical interview. The ideas of the interviews seem to be are not well defined.

Tell us about yourself? Why Amazon? Why this industry? How do you relate to Amazon's leadership principles?
