Clean and simple process. Drug test was included but it is required for the job. Training was involved and lasted about a week for me to pass all the operations tasks.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Amazon (Kenosha, WI) in Aug 2015
Interview
If you can breath and pass a drug test you are in. NO interview process at all! You just show up with a large group of people, they bring you into a room and tell you how you can make history and have fun. They show a couple of videos and you take a drug screening test. Then they will email you and tell you to come in to start day one. You will not know your exact job until you go through orientation and then you will find out if you are in shipping, stowing, pick, pack or some other function.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Amazon (Dallas, TX)
Interview
None. There is no interview. You simply accept the offer presented and show up for the orientation process. You have to take assessments and drug screen and they do background check.
Applied online, there was no interview. You schedule a walk in date. That's where they will take your forms of ID and drug test you. If everything comes back good, you're hired.
