I applied in-person. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Amazon (Charlotte, NC) in Jan 2023
Interview
From the outside the hiring process looks and seems amazingly fast and easy, but as we all know looks are deceiving. After four months and multiple positions offered…. Each offer seem to somehow implode right before starting date so then they have to technically “terminate you“ which is another 72 hours after the 72 hours you have to reapply for another position and it’s always way less an hour and it’s never the selective shift or even slightly close to your selected shift to begin with and they do not care… this is literally happened over seven times with me in the past four months. Still trying to get my foot in the door but almost to the point where is definitely not worth my time for this pay period and you know what is the worst is they have all of these people to assist with obtaining a position but none of them are willing to help and then have them give a crap.!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What is your name and that’s probably the only question
No interview at all, you go into the hiring center, take your drug test, fill out some preliminary paperwork, verify the building and schedule you want, your start date and that's it.
Not too bad pretty easy and straightforward, simple question surrounding handling and moving. Make sure you know basic safety rules as they will ask you, for example how do you carry heavy items.
Apply online, go to the on-site office for oral drug swab and ID picture. Start date is assigned once background check comes back. The actual start date will depend on how fast the check comes back but isn't normally delayed.
