I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Sept 2020
Interview
The entire process took about 10 weeks. The process started with the recruiter emailing me with 20 questions as the initial interview. I then had a phone interview with an executive assistant. Once I passed that interview, I was on to the Loop Interview stage. I interviewed with 3 EA, and 1 bar raiser back to back took about 6 hours. I then passed those interviews, but by this time, there was no longer a position open. Since I passed the interviews, I was eligible for the next available EA position. I waited about 5 weeks before there was an opening. Once they had an opening, I met with the lead EA on the team, and with the director, I would assist. That same day I was told I would be receiving an offer the next day.
Process:
1. Email Interview
2. Interview with EA
3. Loop Interview
4. Waiting until there was an opening
5. Meeting with the team
6. Offer
This was all done virtually due to COVID; I will also be relocating for this position.
Screening call, five ‘loop’ interviews & HM chat. Loop based on Amazon leadership principles & STAR interview format. You receive plenty of information on how to prepare for the interviews which are back to back and 1 hour each
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time something went wrong, what were you doing, how did you deal with it…
Very intense. 2 phone screens and 4 45 minute interviews, known as the loop. The recruiter prepared me with much detail about what to expect. If you prepare, you’ll be fine.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Amazon
Interview
Went through phone screening and never heard back even after reaching out to recruiter. It was unusual since they are usually quick on notifying you. I've went through a few interviews with them in the past.
