I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Madrid) in Oct 2020
Interview
I was sent a link to do an online assessment by an automated system without mentioning to which position and what location.
They didnt even explain what was the content of the assessment, I tried to do a search on google, and no one mentioned any idea about the online assessment.
When I asked the recruiter, he didn't give me a clear answer so I thought it was a behavioral test.
Anyway, I did the test, It hard 4 parts:
1 - Work simulation (35 min)
2 - Amazon workstyles (10 min)
3 - Working with customers simulation (15 min)
4 - Work Preferences & skills (25 min)
Weirdly, after spending around 60 minutes of doing a somehow easy test, here come the hardest part of the assessment, the technical test. I mean when you start to get bored of the questions, they hit you with a hard test with basic college questions. So if you forgot them, you don't even dream of passing this test since a bot will be correcting the answers for first three sections, and you wont have the chance to explain why you chose your answers.
I did several interviews with top vendors and this was not the case, you need to have an interaction with your candidate and not a bot-based assessment system.
In anyway they sent me a notification that i did not pass it and that I need to wait 6 month before trying again.

Interview
You do 4 back to back interview in 1 day. It was exhausting. Besides that really appreciated the recruiter giving out interview prep before it takes place. The good thing is there is no coding round.
The interview process was very challenging and thorough. The questions required deep technical knowledge and problem-solving under pressure. While tough, it was fair and tested real-world skills, communication, and adaptability.
