Applied online. Amazon responded within 48 hours. Clear concise info from the company. Instructions by email to set up an interview on one a dates provided. Handling large amounts of applicants but very very organized. Made you feel welcome and as if they cared for each person.

Question 1
Needed to agree to a swap drug test.
Looked at a personal schedule provided by name and had to indicate shifts you were willing to commit to for 90 days.
Needed to agree to a background check.
Great! Quick and a phone conversation of about ten minutes. Interviewer was warm and professional, afterwards documents were sent for signing and acknowledgment. Also right to work documents were also verified

Interview
Applied once to a contractor. Contractor never got back in touch. Keep in mind contractor pay is less than an actual amazon associate.
Next i applied to a part time fulfillment associate position on amazon's fulfillment website. Heard back shortly for different interview times.
As soon as i got to the interview i noticed there were many people. It was an instant hire of sorts. Mass hiring of roughly 200+ people to operate the warehouse (BFI 5, kent wa, sort center). Drug test and info session about the job.
