Alton Lane interview questions

I initially applied through Indeed, and a day or two later, the Director of Recruiting messaged me to set up a 30-minute virtual interview to 'discuss your career goals, skills, and interests'—which is exactly what we did! I didn't receive an offer or move to the next round of interviews. The Director called me two days later to explain that they had already chosen someone for the role while he was still interviewing me, which he hadn't realized at the time.
