I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ailogic Neural Network
Interview
This is the worst experience I've had after giving multiple interviews. A person from the HR team called to understand my profile, then arranged a meeting with the principal data scientist (who had been working as a teacher for the last 7 years). He asked me to narrate some code which I wrote for my previous organization. It was a 1-hour discussion, and then just after 10 minutes, I got a call that he wants to meet again, and this will be the final call. I agreed. For a long hour, he asked very simple questions like linear regression, imbalanced dataset, and why dropout, etc. Then again, the HR person called saying he is okay, and the India director wants to talk, and it will be a final call (again) with me, and it will be a 30-minute call. I had the call, and the director was asking questions like "how do you handle ego." I mean, what kind of question is that? After this call, the HR person called again saying the US director wants to talk. I was frustrated, but still, I agreed. Then the next day, the HR person gave me 3 questions and said the US director said we will onboard you if you solve these questions. Then I spent 2 days and submitted them (they were related to a translation problem they wanted to solve). After that, I didn't hear anything from them. I didn't call since I was already frustrated with them.
Along with this, the HR person told me some unusual conditions of joining like a 2-year bond. Seriously? and no appraisals till 2 years.
