I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Acadaca (New York, NY) in Sept 2014
Interview
Very brief and precise. First with a phone interview and asking about your background experience on how long you'd been doing java and what are the most challenging experience and how you manage to get over it. Second was a face to face interview with more like a hands on programming skills problems etc....one is making an abstract logic for an elevator. Third was the final interview on the offer.
I applied online. I interviewed at Acadaca (New York, NY) in Mar 2020
Interview
First round was an assignment about Java concept. I spent several hours for that. After that, I was asked to CALL the hr. It was my first time to call an interviewer in order to take part in an interview. During the call, the hr just asked some behavior questions from a list and recorded my answers without telling me more about the company or the role.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Acadaca (New York, NY) in Aug 2015
Interview
The interview was very thorough. I was tested for a wide variety of Java skills, from obscure features of the JVM, such as the relationship between performance and garbage collection, to interesting details regarding the syntax of the Java programming language.
