Received a phone call and invited in for a face to face interview.
Interview went well enough and fairly enjoyable. Mostly based on "Living the company values", which I fully bought into and respected.
Waited for further contact, and after almost a month with no contact was invited out of the blue for a second interview. This was described as an informal chat to discuss suitability and good fit for their culture and some more detail about the role.
The details of the role were nothing like as described in the job spec. Location was also very different. Seemed to go OK, but was told another five of these were taking place. Again I awaited feedback.
Heard absolutely nothing. No feedback either way or a courtesy call, text or email.
The problem I have with this, is that the whole process is based around their "strong ethics and values", how it is a "great" place to work, and how important these things were. "We live these values every day". This was emphasisted several times during the two interviews.
When people are putting their time and emotion into preparing for and attending these interviews, the very basic of values could be put into practise here and give people, out of courtesy, some constructive feedback. At the very least, any kind of contact is better than nothing.
