I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ASDA (Gloucester, England) in Nov 2016
Interview
I attended a group interview at first. About 20 of us completed a range of tasks while some management watched over us and assessed our performance. At the end of the session (a couple of hours) we were told we would be informed of the outcome. Later that week, I was invited back for a one-on-one interview. At which point I was kept waiting for 25 minutes in the staff break room with no indication of how long I would be kept there. I was then asked some very basic/standard interview questions and told to have a "trial shift" which involved tidying the shelves for 30 minutes without supervision. A few days after this I received the call telling me I had the position.

Question 1
How many days have you had off sick in the past year?
A very complex interview process that entailed a section of online assessments, a group interview, and a final individual interview with the section manager, where a floor trial was also undertaken.
Friendly and relaxed, asked a few questions and had two interviews for the role. First was a group interview and second was with 2 managers. Was a very simple interview both times, not intimidating and very relaxed.
