I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI (Dublin, Dublin) in Jun 2016
Interview
first applied online took a while, i then got an email a couple weeks later asking to come in for a one to one interview. The interview went really well and i was asked to come in for a work trial. The work trial was OK, I wasn't asked to do too much, just stacking the shelves and using the fork lift, after that i was asked a few more questions about how i found the work trial and how good my maths was. At the end I was told that i would get a phone call in a couple of days to tell me if i got the job or not. It was a very fast and simple process.
Started as a group where we were educated on the history and benefits about working at ALDI, and were asked what we think working at ALDI is like. Seemed like a good company with fair pay. The individual interview itself only asked availability.
I was first givwn the opportunity to join a group assessment, which I passed. I was then asked to attend a face-to-face interview, in-store but the manager did not come into work that day and I was asked to rearrange the interview after waiting for over an hour. Another applicant also turned uo and waited 30 minutes after I arrived
It is an online interview section where you are asked a question then you record and send. Best you use an iPhone you can several times and send the best
