The interview process consists of an online assessment, phone screen, phone interview, and final interview. The phone screen was with a recruiter, the phone interview was with a trader, and the final interview was with a trader.
Easy interview
Application
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AKUNA CAPITAL in Jun 2016
Interview
I applied online, and the interview consists of online arithmetic test and personality test, followed by a web probability and arithmetic test. I got a phone interview with Andrew, but because of the poor reception, I could barely hear the interviewer and the call dropped 4 times during the call. Andrew was very nice and courteous to always called me back, which I really appreciated as I think as a head trader he is very busy, it shows respect for the candidate that he always dialed back. I think this is a good sign of a good corporate culture.
The questions asked on the phone interview are fair, mostly just questions about options and math. The brainteaser are not difficult either (I am from a stats major). as I couldn't really hear him over the phone, I did not do too well, and always have to ask him to repeat, and after this round I was eliminated.
I think if you prepare ahead of time, the interviews are fairly easy. It seems like they have very good culture compared to some of the stories I heard about trading firms.

Question 1

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at AKUNA CAPITAL (Chicago, IL)
Interview
Did the Options 201 course. It consisted of math and options questions. Top performers of the course move on to a behavioral interview. Very standard behavioral questions like "why trading" / "why Akuna".
Good. some questions are hard but others are easy, the pace is good. overall it's average. I didnt pass. I've no idea why. But I think the interview process is fair.
