Applied online and promptly received an invitation to interview with the owner. The invitation contained similar information as the initial ad but a dollar amount in revenue required was also added. I was rather surprised by the high dollar amount given the price of the product and the small base salary. Additionally, I was advised that this would be a short succinct meeting vs a deep dive into my qualifications, but this was not the case.
The meeting was professional but I felt a lack of credibility of what was been said and an uneasiness of what it would be like to work with this business owner.
At the end of the meeting I was told that it would probably be about 1 week before hearing back, I received a decline email 2 days later.
