I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ADP (Newark, NJ) in Jun 2016
Interview
The interview process happened over the course of three weeks. Initially I was contacted by someone in Ohio who asked me some basic questions about my resume and she was incredibly difficult to read. I would answer a question, there would be silence, then she would ask another. Fortunately I moved on to the next round, a face-to-face interview at a local branch. Scheduling this was a nightmare as the person who was responsible for setting up the interview "took off for the week" and I had to make arrangements with someone else. I only had the interview confirmed two days prior to it. The woman who interviewed me was incredibly kind. She essentially told me I nailed it and showed me around as if I would be moving on to the next round. She told me that "If you don't get hired, you will get a phone call from the head of the department, but I can tell you right now that I doubt that will happen". It went so well, I really got my hopes up about the position, which if the interview hadn't gone so well I wouldn't have. Either way, I received a generic email this past Sunday telling me that I wouldn't be moving forward with them. I think when you have already interviewed face-to-face you should be contacted by a person on the telephone, as my interviewer told me would happen. I would have preferred to receive the email on a Monday, as to not ruin the entirety of my Sunday evening. Despite all of this I think ADP would still be a great company to work for. I really loved the environment and I will continue to apply to different roles.

Thank you for this open and honest review. We are sorry that it didn't work out but hopefully in the future as you seem very enthusiastic about the ADP environment and culture.

phone interview and then video interview. If you are near the office I believe it's a in person interview. Sometimes it takes a while to get the interview but if you are confident you would have good chances

Question 1
It's been a while but I believe they asked the usual interview questions like describe a difficult situation and how you handled it. It's best to use the STAR method when answering questions.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ADP (Alpharetta, GA) in Aug 2025
Interview
The interview was good, and the hiring manager told me that I was very thorough and gave excellent responses, in addition to my relative experience. I was also told that I would be hearing back from the recruiter the same week. However I have not recieved any feeback or follow up about the interview from the recruiter, even after me following up with the Thank You letter and (3) follow up letters because I really wanted this job.. Still nothing from the recruiter. So Ironically I received an email survey from ADP recruitment, I left my rating and comment and wouldnt you know an hour after that I get another generic email saying they have moved on to other candidates.. Sighs.. these companies I tell ya.. SMH
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ADP (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
Had to go through multiple rounds with standard interview questions. The only thing that was useless was the video interview, after the video I had an in person interview with the same questions.
