I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at 3M (Brockville, ON)
Interview
I was emailed an interview invitation and once accepted was given instructions and directions to the interview. There were 3 managers present for my interview which took approximately 20 minutes. A few days later I was emailed an offer of employment.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at 3M (Aberdeen, SD) in Aug 2017
Interview
I applied, I called in a few times to see if they looked at my application, but they not yet and they'd get back to me. It took weeks to a month, but then I got a call back. I went in and took a logic/mechanical aptitude test and an ethics type questionnaire where it gives a situation and asks how you would personally respond (it looks at both your moral attitude and temperament in situations.) I was then interviewed by two employees. I then waited for a week to a few weeks to hear back from them and they gave me a job offer contingent on a physical and drug test and background check.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
You are asked some typical questions like what is your greatest strength or weakness, etc., but they also ask some questions trying to figure out how you react to adversity, authority, and how you view your work and responsibility to the company. They are looking for conscientious and ethical employees.
Hello,
Thank you for your review! We are so happy to hear that you had a positive interview experience with 3M, and congratulations on accepting an offer!
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at 3M (North Atlanta, GA) in Jan 2013
Interview
The supervisors i interviewed with were extremely friendly, professional and made me feel very welcome, the questions were mostly safety orientated because that is 3M's biggest concern, how safe an employee is ...then they moved on to talk about production and about holding the non-productive employees accountable and also about your personal integrityat work, the culture seems very employee orientated and woulld be a great place to retire from.
