Pros
1.)If you find hard work fulfilling, you will be satisfied.
2.) The pay is decent and the benefits could only be worse
3.) Some of the best managers I have worked with.
Cons
1a.] You will often find yourself doing more than everyone else or just generally working yourself to yhe bone with an unfair workload.
2a.)The pay is decent (in my area atleast) but it's not competitive anymore compared to previous years. Most other similar jobs hover around the same pay point but with other benefits. Better benefits. Publix offers stocks and good retirement, walmart has great out of work benefits like paying fully for college courses and a flexible schedule, amazon and UPS are grueling but similar in workload to aldi with better pay and more flexible schedules.
3a.) Also some of the WORST managers I have worked with. Upper management, ex. store managers and district managers tend to be out of touch. They hardly listen to the asms and lsas concerns, aka the people who are in the floor daily, and DMs only care about how the store "looks". God forbid your management is bad, you will not have a great personal/work life balance and you will feel underpaid and undervalued despite putting forth your best foot. Even worse if you have a serious issue like sexual harrasment/issues with a coworker etc. From what I've seen aldi doesn't handle such things well.
