Let’s talk about the #ElephantInTheRoom? Last month, we were thrilled to unveil our Elephant In The Room Movement sculpture — a powerful symbol of our ongoing commitment to mental health awareness in 2025. Brent Pope, founding member of the Elephant in the Room movement, joined us to share his personal mental health journey and the story behind the movement, opening the door for honest, supportive conversations in our workplace. "It’s ok not to feel ok sometimes, and it’s absolutely ok to talk about it and ask for help. Regardless of age, sex, or status, we all need to feel more comfortable discussing our vulnerabilities.". Over the coming weeks, we’ll be running a series of mental health initiatives, including a visit from Samaritans, who will share resources on how to get help or get involved and support the cause. We’ll also host webinars focused on financial well-being — one of the leading causes of stress and anxiety — to further support our team. Our Green Committee has already made a huge impact in 2025! Since the introduction of the Deposit Return Scheme implemented in our office in August 2024, we have significantly reduced the company’s waste. Almost 7,000 cans and bottles have been reused and recycled so far. ♻️ Cody Power, Customer Experience Supervisor and member of the Green Committee, shares how impactful this initiative has been: "It feels great to know that these items are not only being reused and recycled, but that the money from the return scheme is going to children in need. We're all part of this ecosystem we call society, and just by the small act of popping an empty bottle in a bin, we can make a difference." The money raised through the Deposit Return Scheme is being donated to several children's charities across the country in partnership with Re-turn Ireland through their ‘Return for Children’ scheme.
