We’re proud of the people who make our culture what it is. Branch 737 recently partnered with Redwood Empire Food Bank in Santa Rosa, California, packing seven pallets of food and helping support 6,290 seniors and families facing food insecurity. This is what teamwork, purpose, and heroic impact look like. If you’re looking for a career where empathy matters and where people truly show up for each other, you’ll fit right in here at Orkin!
Our annual Top Termite Cities List is live, spotlighting the 50 U.S. cities with the highest demand for termite treatment services. The trends are more interesting than ever. For the fourth year in a row, Miami, Los Angeles, and Tampa lead the rankings. However, this year brings a shake‑up: New York has officially broken into the top 10, signaling how fast consumer needs are evolving across the country. This list isn’t just a snapshot of pest activity; it reflects the scale, urgency, and impact of the work our teams take on every day. High‑demand markets mean more opportunities to grow, innovate, and make a real difference for customers who rely on us to protect their homes and businesses. Curious where your city landed? After a winter storm in Texas left roads icy and temperatures dangerously low, Ben encountered an emergency while out on his route. A man named John had slipped on the ice, suffering a severe spinal injury that left him unable to move. John lay on the cold ground for nearly 45 minutes before Ben, a complete stranger, stopped to help. John’s wife later shared the experience online, expressing gratitude for Ben’s quick action during an incredibly frightening moment and crediting him with being there when her family needed help most. Ben’s response reflects the character, compassion, and commitment to safety that define our teams. It is a powerful example of Orkin’s Safety Ethos in action and the kind of people who make our organization strong.
At Orkin, we believe making an impact goes beyond pest control. Our teammates take pride in serving communities and supporting one another, creating a workplace where people can grow and make a difference. One current way to help is by donating blood. The American Red Cross is facing a critical shortage, and blood donations save lives. Donors who give between now and February 28, 2026, will receive a $20 e-gift card as a thank you. Visit redcrossblood.org to learn more. As Orkin celebrates 125 years, we are marking this milestone by giving back in meaningful ways. Across the country, our teams are participating in 125 Acts of Good, from volunteering in their communities to small acts of kindness for the people we serve. We encouraged every teammate to contribute 125 minutes of service this year. Just over two hours can make a real difference in the places where it matters most.
This week, the Red River Region team in Fort Worth, Texas, had the privilege of surprising long-time customers of 27 years with a complimentary OrkinScape landscape refresh, including new mulch beds and neatly trimmed bushes around their home. We are proud of our employees for going above and beyond to give back and support the communities we serve. Their dedication reflects the values that make Orkin a place where people can make a heroic impact.
Branch Manager Trainee Patrice Wallace has an inspiring story about how she journeyed from Jamaica to Orkin. She entered the pest control industry with no prior experience, but she's always had a strong drive to succeed. Today, she's shining in South Florida and setting an example to encourage others. No matter who you are or where you're from, Patrice says there's a place for you at Orkin. We invest in our people and offer some of the best training in the industry. Watch her story to see what’s possible.
OrkinServes is our employee volunteer program focused on supporting communities across the country. Each year, Orkin teams set aside time to give back in the neighborhoods where they live and work. In 2025, more than 3,800 teammates volunteered at more than 250 volunteer events, contributing nearly 6,000 hours of service. We are proud of our teams for their commitment to making a meaningful impact in their communities.
Northeast Division leaders recently hosted an OrkinServes event at our Home Office, where volunteers came together to build stuffed bears and assemble care packages for children impacted by disasters. To make each gift even more special, teammates added handwritten notes filled with encouragement and care. The packages were donated to the Atlanta Police Foundation for distribution. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event meaningful. If you want to work alongside people who truly care about service and community, consider joining Orkin!
Just ahead of Thanksgiving, Orkin USA President Pat Chrzanowski visited his hometown of Erie, Pennsylvania, to be a part of the Gio Strong fundraiser. The event supported Giovanni Newsuan, who was recently welcomed home after three months in the cardiac intensive care unit recovering from a heart attack. We’re inspired by Gio’s strength and the community’s support. Stay strong, Gio. And congratulations to the Erie team on the opening of the new Orkin franchise.
