Congratulations on this well-earned achievement!
Employees in MISO’s Little Rock and Carmel offices recently gathered to celebrate two deserving Wish kids. Revealing Wishes in person is fun and always renews our commitment to Make-A-Wish. Sometimes it’s hard to put into words what Wish reveals feel like. Happy tears and hugs galore, balloons and cake. For a moment the world is right, and everyone forgets what brought us all together.
Thank you to Prism, our LGBTQ+ employee resource group, for planning an incredible Pride Month and making MISO a more inclusive and vibrant workplace!

MISO Recognized for its Advocacy for Veteran Employment On the heels of being named one of the best places to work in Indiana, MISO has been honored as a 2024 VETS Indexes Recognized Employer. The award recognizes an organization’s commitment to recruiting, hiring, retaining, developing and supporting veterans and the military-connected community. MISO’s Veterans Resource Group (VRG), an employee-created and lead group, works closely with MISO leadership to develop recruiting and training initiatives that support career and talent development for veterans. “MISO recognizes the skills and leadership know-how veterans bring to the workplace,” said Daryl Brown, executive director, external affairs, and executive sponsor of VRG. “We take immense pride in the recognition we received from Vets Indexes as it highlights MISO's ongoing commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace.” VRG efforts both within and outside of MISO over the past two years have resulted in a robust program offering employee focused lunch and learns, support for a local Pets Healing Vets program and recognizing the contributions of our veteran employees. Within our communities, the VRG connects employees with veteran service organizations, offers flag retirement services and participates in veteran-focused recruiting events like the Student Veterans of America national conference.
