The compensation is not great and there is an ever-increasing workload, a lot of which is paperwork. The bottlenecks within the company are well known and not addressed: Not enough personnel, lab equipment and space. Some unfortunate precedents have been set in place such as if you resign, you are escorted out of the building and are not allowed to finish the remainder of your term (de-incentivises giving considerate notice). There appears to be a culture that de-incentivises honesty and honest reporting of data if it is not a positive result. Senior management appears to be mismanaging the company and spending on non-essentials such as making the place look good rather than investing in productivity (personnel, equipment, and research). Recommendation of this company is contingent upon bottlenecks being addressed, increased transparency from the top and overall improvement in the quality of life of its employees; perhaps the President of the facility is not the right leader for this company.
