I worked at emarsys full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Differentiated and exciting technology
    - Good reputation with existing clients
    - Good structure of sales support and training

    Cons

    - Commission structure looks good on paper however, very few individuals hit target in my time there so very few could benefit from the accelerated commission levels.
    - Culture and communication can be immature, misogynistic and unprofessional.
    - Some aspects of the stack are now "vaporware"
    - Implementation was an ongoing concern, maybe they have fixed since my time.

    Advice to Management

I think they're doing all the right things, investing in brand and support/implementation roles. Maybe they have worked on fixing culture issues in the London office since my time there.

    Pros

    still thinking...maybe their benefit package?

    Cons

Everytime a bad review comes up on glassdoor, there are always a few coverup good review with great review title immediately following to balance the score on glassdoor. I wonder how this pattern is generated. Come on, please be fair just like in the company. Let people voice out real situation without cover up. No honest and fair communication. The bad management and situation is more than the good. Really need to check up on your upper management, company structure, culture, hiring process, current employees, and office politic; a total mess.

    Advice to Management

Think before you act and stop being a bad influence on the company culture and structure while trying to inefficiently expanding the company for your own good.

I worked at emarsys full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Flexible working hour, fair employees benefit( could be better but all the budget maybe spend on hiring useless positions) , no more than that unfortunately .

    Cons

No clear picture about the employee growth but only focus on boost the sales, post-sale customer service is terrible and that's why most of customers left to the competitors. No clarity in this office structure and company care about the poor senior management and ignore those valuable staff. Agreed one of the review here about poor hiring of senior.

    Advice to Management

Good luck of expanding the offices so quick .Then your employee turn over rate as high as the disappointment score of your employee satisfaction.

    I worked at emarsys full-time

    Pros

Smart and friendly colleagues, collaborative environment, good compensation package. The flexible work hours and the nice office environment all contribute to the employees’ well-being. Autonomy within teams and continuous self-improvement are encouraged and supported by the company culture. The hiring process is unique and fair.

    Cons

On-call duty can be tiring. Using both legacy and bleeding-edge technologies at the same time can be frustrating, too.

    Pros

You get to work with some genuinely talented people, who are not only very affable but open to lending a hand and collaborate well.

    Cons

Overly aggressive sales strategy where the customer ends up buying a solution that doesn't fit their needs.

    Advice to Management

Keep building a great team, but pay more attention to the issues and limitations that arise in the tech.
