Pros

they pay you such little commission that they are able to afford some fun nights out

Cons

Working at esynergy for your first recruitment job, you're are made to think recruitment is like that- it's not. They pay £200 commission for every deal, in comparison to every other agencies that give you a percentage (£800-£2000) they expect you to work until 7pm minimum and get leads for them all day everyday. Most new people work 8am till 8:30pm. You get in trouble if your 1 min late. You will notice they mainly hire 17-20 year olds - young people who will work for cheap and you can scare into working illegal hours. People leave every month, and they say 'that's just recruitment.' They hardly have any roles to work in comparison to other agencies I've worked with, so your constantly fighting with your colleagues to get your cv's looked at. As a result, the people who 'Become friends" with the account managers are the ones that do the deals. eSynergy typically have 15-50 live roles. Most agencies have 200+ I've never felt so exhausted i my life until working at eSynergy. "Make them work as late as possible and a cheap as possible, but buy them beer, hire young, and pump music through the office, so they think they are working at a great, fun company" - If your thinking about joining- don't

Pros

Some of the team members are friendly and supportive, and the projects can be interesting.

Cons

There seems to be a significant lack of professionalism in handling financial matters. Communication about compensation is inconsistent, and timelines for payment are often unclear or delayed without explanation. Contractors should be cautious and clarify all terms upfront. This lack of reliability can create unnecessary stress and frustration.
