Talented Employees, Problematic CEO
Pros
Working alongside some of the most talented and caring people I've ever met. Opportunity to work remotely. Deep respect for working parents. Competitive salary.
Cons
The 2+ years I spent at Willow were some of the most unpleasant, and of my career. It's difficult to be productive or effective with 6-7 hours of meetings every day, a maddening loop of inconsequential and redundant reporting, constant strategy shifting and an unhealthy obsession with perceived corporate injustices. In my opinion, the reactive, panicked, and indecisive culture at Willow is a direct reflection of the current CEO's personality and insecurities. Unfortunately for the company, she is as ineffective as she is unlikeable. The company continues to lose market share, brand awareness and revenue... making the working experience even more painful.
