Pros

GB&SMITH has one big asset: every single employee is truly committed, efficient, competent and loves the company. It's a pleasure to work with such people, everyone is fun and nice, you can count on them and be helped easily. Mistakes are accepted as well, as long as you learn from them. Balance between professional and private lives isTRULY respected and that's a first for me. They expect results not hours, plus they seem to be working on home office projects which is nice.

Cons

1) Trust. The CEOs don't trust or listen to anyone but themselves. You can't suggest anything because as an employee, they must believe that somehow you are not trustworthy and only trying to get more and more money from them for no reasons at all or simply patiently waiting for a mistake to sue them. I don't get this when, as said above, everything seems to be doing his best. 2) Don't join GBS if you expect a descent wage cause you won't get a copper. Every single negotiation is a battle. Your skills are not worth anything (actually they are on the market but it's not a relevant argument in the company), what you did for the company either. On top of the salary itself, don't even think about getting benefits. GB&SMITH definition of benefits is strongly paternalistic. they'd rather organize a big trip in Iceland than give a general bonus for good results. And don't forget to say thank you to your generous CEO, you ungrateful employee! 3) product and strategy: basically non existent. The CTO acts like a child and is so convinced he is a genius he'd rather follow is constantly changing thoughts than competent expert he hired for...the pleasure to tell them they are wrong I guess. 4) don't expect any gratefulness. You can work as hard as you want, if they can't stand you or simply don't care, you won't get anything, not even a thank you. Let alone money as explained before. 5) they base all their decisions on feelings rather than facts.

Pros

Remote working possible if you're interested in this

Cons

Let's speak the truth unlike all the obviously fake reviews here: - Recruitment process is a joke - The solution is nothing special unlike what they pretent. Competitors are overall better. - Amateur management at every stage. - Poor team spirit - Almost no marketing tools - Better to work from home than at the office when you see it

Pros

Wiiisdom benefits from a unique positioning in the Analytics Ops space with softwares that bring values to customers on SAP BO, Tableau and PowerBI, from dashboard/report testing to data lineage and software maintenance/backup. A few good people with whom you can work, produce great idea on how to present the products and enhance the way you demo things to meet your prospect expectations.

Cons

Where to start: - No presales vision. Presales work as software consultants and do support, training and from time to time demonstrate a product. It's more like firefighters to cover others incompetence - No product vision. Or maybe there is one, but when the roadmap is basically your next sprint for 3 months it's hard to believe. - Poor products quality. Frequent hot fix releases because dev decided all the sudden to change a parameter for instance, and the tool breaks everywhere after an upgrade. - Support is your neglect child. Support agents are unsupervised and do what they want. They don't know/want to answer half of the tickets, and their knowledge of the tools is limited technically and functionally. -Marketing team is everywhere but nowhere, most of the posts are clickbait with buzz words that they don't understand. It's kind of funny how easily they can scrap articles you help them with, and deliver a technical gibberish full of mistakes and non sense that is not shareable with customers or prospects. - Social washing. Your values mean nothing. There are no innovations as you based your tools on other ones using existing technologies. And you're not even capable to reuse a few good features between products. You don't care that much about your customers, otherwise you'll have a strong support. There is no team spirit, most of the teams work in silo. Caring environment is a lie, you know that an employee is bullying others and you let that happen.
