Pros

-Good compensation package -Hybrid work model -Got more exposure to React -The company started adopting AI development tools like github copilot

Cons

-It was a competitive environment on the team where developers were competing for work because 4-5 teams were on the same project. -The manager didn't set any goals for me and acted more like a friend which felt strange. In the past I had leads that helped me strive to perform better. I only got advice like 'you should be scared of AI.' -My title felt inflated there because there were no lead responsibilities. I requested to be a Senior Software Engineer instead and they couldn't do it. -The team operated in different offices and it didn't feel collaborative. -I feel like there was poor planning of the initial UI architecture that will affect the long term maintainability of the app. -Have to pay $15 or more for parking everyday In the end, I feel like I wasted my time and didn't get good work experience there. I really never knew if I was making progress or not in the project. My UI development skillset stagnated there. It's going to be tough to explain this one in interviews.
