Pros

I loved my coworkers and I loved learning a lot about nutrition. The weight loss system is great at weight not, it is truly healthy.

Cons

There are sales goals management will set regardless of time of year and you have to meet the base goal to get your salary. So say, during December when nobody wants to lose weight you will still be expected to hit the same (extremely high) goal. When you do not get to the bottom of the goal you have a draw against your salary. This goal is ALWAYS very difficult but it can be attainable when the company is busy. I had success in sales elsewhere and I only hit my goal one time in eight months while working at WeightNot. Currently due to issues with the system WeightNot uses for pulling leads (issues created by management), nobody is getting anywhere near the goal. So, WeightNot is burning through hard working sales people who are new and who have been with the company for many years. People have had to quit due to the draw on their salary. WeightNot demoted me to a less valuable role where my job was to transfer leads to sales people and I only had 6 month old leads. I was told call volume was my major goal, but then they let me go due to not bringing in 20k that month (which was a goal nobody told me about.) Also the sales people who had new leads were unable to break the 12k mark with goals of about 31k. I would not leave a good job to work at WeightNot, the company does not have it together at all.

Pros

It's amazing to for a company with such strong values, most importantly integrity. We are truly pushed to succeed and given the support and resources to do so!

Cons

This requires a self starter attitude and if you struggle keeping yourself on task that can be a challenge for certain personalities.

It's great to hear your feedback about the company values and the quality of our team. You are definitely right -- keeping yourself on track from day to day is a critical skill for anyone who works remotely, so we do our best to find those staff who are organized and self-motivated.

Pros

You work virtually. Save on gas. They do care about their clients. All clients seen on facebook are acurate. Very good weight loss program.

Cons

They are all about sales and numbers. So much, this is their main focus. Very much a high pressure constant all day intense sales job.

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback about your brief experience in sales at WeightNot. You are certainly correct that jobs at WeightNot require consistent work throughout the day, and as sales is by its nature very goal-driven and numbers oriented (anywhere), anyone who accepts a sales position at WeightNot would definitely need to be comfortable with having accountability for their time and with measuring their sales performance against specific metrics. We do our best to select staff who appreciate working in a team that values strong sales performance — and your comment implying that it is somehow unappealing for the sales team to be "all about sales" (the primary function of that group) is highly counterintuitive and not consistent with the view of the majority of our sales team, who take pride in being part of a high performing sales organization. In the context of achieving sales goals, it is important to note that sales staff at WeightNot have many forms of support and resources including a wide range of technologies and dedicated coaching/management. Sales staff also consistently have more than enough opportunity (in terms of the volume of inquiries from consumers) to reach or exceed their goals every month -- and related, unlike many other sales positions, WeightNot staff do not have to do any prospecting on their own whatsoever. Overall, those who succeed in sales at WeightNot tend to thrive in a goal-oriented environment and are motivated by the opportunity to sell services that deliver transformative benefits. We regret that the role was not a fit for you, and we wish you the best of luck in your career.
