Pros

It is a startup company, so you have free snacks, beer on Fridays Since company is usually short staffed, you can work on every department of the company It is a young company with few talented people who have potential

Cons

The most experienced people in the company, hold onto the knowledge with their life and will not let anybody grow from within. The leadership bullies everyone and management layer is filled with yes men. Management will do anything to keep their leadership masters happy. Leadership takes out everyone who talks back and so experienced people don't share in fearing of losing their jobs. A bureaucratic nightmare

Talented teams in all departments, always willing to help each other. Everyone is very smart and nice. Start-up office with snacks etc.

Cons

Extremely bureaucratic and sales driven. Really hard working employees who do not get enough recognition.

Pros

- Coworkers are cool , and understand the toxic environment that is fostered from the co-founder - Good eateries and bars around area - All employees get thrown into fire, so if you're new to the tech world can learn alot in a small timeframe - The figurehead CEO is a very well respected individual across multiple industries. He is accessible, so all employees can voice their concerns with him. The only thing is that he is not around as much as needed.

Cons

- No respect for Staff from Co-Founder - No clear direction regarding Project Management since everything changes daily - Upper Management tends to frown upon requested work from home days - Terrible decision making from co-founder - Unrealistic scope of projects - 2nd and 3rd tier companies come to Viewlift expecting 1st tier quality, and are disappointed, which causes strain on skeleton screw - Unethical handling of client and client relations -Most development is being done offshore these days - so expect ALOT of other employees reaching out at all times in the day for questions regarding work issues. Worked here for a year. PLEASE BELIEVE ME AVOID AT ALL COSTS! This place is spiraling down the wrong path. If you value your career, don't make the mistake I made by joining this establishment. 80% of the people i started there with last year all left for new companies, or got fired. They only focus on getting video solutions to clients out the window in the "unrealistic" timeframe promised by the co-founder. Once the project is out the door, it's barely stable, and this is where everything hits the fan, ranging from the clients all the way to the client of the products. It is a terrible, stressful environment to work under.
