Pros

Good pay, you get salary

Cons

I am writing this review to warn other drivers — especially women — about serious safety and accountability issues I experienced at Tri-State. While working as a team driver, I repeatedly reported that my assigned co-driver made me feel unsafe and uncomfortable. He violated personal boundaries in ways that are especially concerning in a team-driving environment, where drivers are forced to live and sleep in extremely close quarters. I made it clear that I did not feel safe and asked the company for help. Instead of protecting me or taking my concerns seriously, Tri-State dismissed them. Even though another team candidate was available, the company refused to reassign me and left me in a situation that caused constant stress and fear. I felt ignored, unsupported, and pressured to tolerate behavior that no driver — especially a woman — should be expected to endure. The situation ultimately escalated when my co-driver made false accusations against me. Rather than conducting a fair investigation or acknowledging the safety concerns I had already reported, Tri-State allowed the situation to end my employment. What makes this even more damaging is that Tri-State later marked my DAC/background report with a “rehire decision-based” status. This has real consequences for my career, despite the fact that I spoke up in good faith about my safety and did not abandon equipment or violate company policy. This experience was emotionally exhausting and deeply disappointing. Drivers should never be punished for reporting unsafe situations. Tri-State failed to protect me, failed to advocate for me, and failed to take responsibility for how this situation was handled. I strongly urge women considering team driving with this company to proceed with extreme caution and to ask very specific questions about how safety complaints are actually handled — not just what is promised during hiring.
