      Worst place to start off a career

      Pros

      If it is the only offer on the table when you are graduating into a slow economy then you would have no choice but to take an offer with this company

      Cons

      The work that is done does nothing for your career. The skills are non-transferable. The cold calling skill you obtain resonates to a career in selling insurance over the phone. The investor relations group essentially is an event planner. You don't really deal with the real IR team. The research work they conduct is a sham. If you don't know a figure, they will just pencil a figure in to make the numbers look better for its clients.

      Any way I can omit this section since there really isn't anything positive to say about working for this company?

      Cons

      Management, or rather lack of. Don't expect to learn anything related to investor relations unless you're keen on improving your EVENT PLANNING skills, since that's all this company is capable of.

      Pros

      Junior level employees are fantastic people but that's about it.

      Cons

      The salary is a joke and the management are sadistic and talentless hacks. This company lacks oversight and direction. I can't imagine how this place has stayed afloat as long as it has. There aren't any growth opportunities and it's not going to help your resume either.
