      Glorified recruitment meets the Twilight Zone

      Pros

      - Work-life balance - Some good client names - Depending on team, there is some autonomy in your work - Depending on team, some international travel

      Cons

      - Company habitually lies about who they are and what they do, they'll tell you that you are a management consultant when in actual fact you'll spend your day on LinkedIn finding people and calling them, which is recruitment (hence why they recruit recruiters). - No training or development at all - very limited career trajectory - Job titles galore but no difference between the vast majority - everyone has manager in their title but no management responsiblity - Stuffy environment with clear favourites in the office, "perception" counts more than deliverables.

      Talent intelligence provides nothing to companies they can't do themselves.

      Pros

      Zero - the only thing positive is that it is a nice stroll to Nordstrom to hang out and not do your work because of the salt mine atmosphere.

      Cons

      Dishonesty and misrepresentation to current and prospective clients is a hallmark of doing business for Talent Intelligence. TI promises services they can't deliver because they don't have the funding to provide what they promise. They operate off of the receivables of current and new clients, have no cash reserves, and survive month-to-month off those receivables.

      Trust is a two way street

      Pros

      . Flexible working (although can't work remotely on Monday or Friday) . Quick promotion ( Depending on how you are perceived and favored) . Good crowd

      Cons

      . Management does not trust employees for example in order to qualify for remote working one must present images of a fire extinguisher etc... . MDs stance on certain issues rather "old school" . Huge staff turnover
