I got to meet some amazing coworkers who quit shortly after.
Cons
Toxic environment, cringe company culture, terrible management, high turnover, lack of transparency, no room for growth, pay below the market average, long unrewarded working hours.
terrible experience beside money that is not even that good is terrible.
Cons
The development department has a culture with a strong emphasis on individual career advancement. This sometimes overshadows genuine passion for the work. There's a competitive environment to the extent that genuine enthusiasm or high performance might not always be received positively by peers. The team leader i had, unfortunately, seems to lack some foundational knowledge in their role. For instance, there have been challenges with tasks as basic as formulating simple queries.
Lack of opportunities for career growth. Unprofessional management. Compensation and benefits below the market. Lack of real leadership/mentorship. Micromanagement. Lack of customer-centric approach. Lack of transparency - they claim to have "no clock in/clock out", which is not true. Decision-making processes are very blurry and unfair. Feedback is never taken into account.
