Pros

None.. this company gaslights employees and clients.

Cons

Poor leadership, the Cofounders are self righteous. They spend most of their time talking about their accomplishments and barely any time focused on the mission. I joined this company hoping to help feed the hungry but haven’t seen any proof of where the money is going. As for the service/ product they tell employees we are capable of doing things the company cannot and then when we sell to clients the clients are disappointed. This is not only tarnishing the company but also my personal brand. When you complain the claim to understand your frustrations and then make up a fake deadline of when things will be fixed. High pressure , low bonuses and decent base pay

Pros

- decent pay - remote - GREAT COWORKERS

Cons

Leadership uses “we didn’t lay off anyone during Covid” stories to attract those who are hesitant to come to a startup during recruitment & hiring process … lays people off months after. Leadership writes articles about good leadership and being transparent in difficult times but does the exact opposite and actually hides the reality how awful the state of the company is, making people feel falsely secure.even worse than just a plain old blindside. Lays off 30%+ a week after article is published. The list goes on… - no 401k - conflicting benefits from handbook to what each team actually does - sketchy selling tactics - long hours over multiple time zones which they don’t consider dependent on where you live - no departmental alignment , almost like multiple different companies - inexperienced and immature leaders (c-level, vps. …) - says only good companies provide meal allowances but barely gives $10 - where exactly is the % we donate going ? -

Pros

Good healthcare, unlimited pto, $10 meal allowance everyday

Cons

Sharebite has been around for about 7 years but it feels like it's 1-2 years old. Upper management seems to have a god complex and only talks about their accomplishments every week while the rest of us look at the screen expressionless. Pay is way below market value for most positions and employees are gaslighted when they complain about pay and job expectations. The job is not very dynamic either. Very bad communication across different departments and lots of executives seem to think they're finding the cure for cancer when it's a corporate food delivery platform/middle man company. They say how they are so mission driven but barely talk about anything related to it. Lots of times it feels like it's a marketing strategy more than anything. Lots of new faces because the old ones are all leaving or have already left. Limited room for growth
