Pros
- decent pay - remote - GREAT COWORKERS
Cons
Leadership uses “we didn’t lay off anyone during Covid” stories to attract those who are hesitant to come to a startup during recruitment & hiring process … lays people off months after. Leadership writes articles about good leadership and being transparent in difficult times but does the exact opposite and actually hides the reality how awful the state of the company is, making people feel falsely secure.even worse than just a plain old blindside. Lays off 30%+ a week after article is published. The list goes on… - no 401k - conflicting benefits from handbook to what each team actually does - sketchy selling tactics - long hours over multiple time zones which they don’t consider dependent on where you live - no departmental alignment , almost like multiple different companies - inexperienced and immature leaders (c-level, vps. …) - says only good companies provide meal allowances but barely gives $10 - where exactly is the % we donate going ? -
